Parent Feedback

Our mantra at Spa is 'Better Never Stops'! All parents were recently invited to share their feedback on our Remote Learning plans (used during a whole-school closure). Headlines from the survey are below. We also (in the spirit of 'better never stops') have taken into account the feedback and suggestions and this page outlines some of the changes we have made. Thank you to all those that responded to our survey - we greatly appreciate your feedback.

Comments on Remote Learning plans

In our survey, we suggested some potential changes to our plans as well as sought feedback on how we can improve our plans. Listed below are some of the key feedback for improvement and how we have addressed these. Your feedback said... We did...
Parents were overwhelmingly in support of our plan to also provide recorded versions of the LIVE sessions (particularly for our younger pupils) so you can access these around working/childcare commitment.  Our LIVE lessons will continue and, for those that are unable to access them at the timetabled time - recorded sessions will be available to access on Microsoft Teams. 

Some pupils were not able to access due to IT equipment.

We have now received our 'allocation' of Department for Education laptops and internet dongles. This means, that in future, if we do need to 'isolate' a group, class or bubble, we are able to provide immediate access to IT equipment for those that require it.

Having LIVE lessons focused on the wider curriculum.

Pupils, in future, will receive a pre-recorded lesson, focused on the wider curriculum, supporting their learning in the wider curriculum as well as the Learning Beyond the Classroom booklets they already have access to.
