All Year 6 parents, if they have not already, please reply via text regarding which session you would prefer to attend.
This information was originally sent out on December 4th.
Year 6 is an incredibly important year for your child in their primary education. As they prepare to move to secondary school, pupils are also preparing for the end of KS2 Assessments (SATs). These assessments take place in May each year and it is fantastic to see pupils' efforts and determination in school in working towards these. We are so proud of the successes our Year 6 pupils are having in school!
In December, there was information released from the government about what exams/assessments look like for pupils in 2021 and this includes information regarding your child's SATs.
As we are unable to meet in person, we would like to invite all Year 6 parents to join a Zoom meeting (with your child) to share with you:
We are hosting two sessions to allow parents to choose which session they attend.
Tuesday 5th January 2020 @ 6 - 6.30pm
Wednesday 6th January 2020 @ 4 - 4.30pm
Please reply to the text you have been sent with which date you would like to attend and you will be sent instructions on how to access Zoom (available on a tablet/laptop/phone).
If you are unable to attend either of these dates, due to unavailability or unable to access on IT equipment, please reply letting us know this.
We are proud of the fantastic progress our Year 6 pupils are making and hope that you are able to join us on this evening as we share with you what Year 6 SATs look like and how we can ensure your child has every chance of the success they deserve in these!
