We would like to welcome parents and families to join us to celebrate Sports Day on Thursday 29th June 2023.  All activities will take place on the school field opposite the school (Alfred Road).  You are welcome to bring picnic rugs, chairs and even a picnic!

Year 5 and Year 6 pupils will  head over to the field at 9.15 am ready to begin events at approximately 9.30am and will finish at around 11.30am.

Year 3 and Year 4 pupils will  begin events at approximately 1pm and will finish at around 2.50pm.  

Please note that children will not be allowed to go home straight from the school field.  They will exit school  as usual at 3pm.

Parents will be invited to sit along the running track so they can view all the events.  Each year group will do all their track events whilst the other year group does their field events.  They will then swap over.  Each class will rotate around all of the events with different children taking part in each event.

• Report any concerns to a member of staff.
• Support and encourage your own and other children in a positive manner.

Please refrain from:

• Using inappropriate language or displaying aggressive or intimidating behaviour towards the staff, children or other parents/carers.
• Consuming alcohol or other substances whilst on the premises.  This includes smoking cigarettes and using vapes.
• Taking photos or videos of children other than your own.
